Please read these terms carefully before using our dry cleaning and laundry services.

1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Diamond Star Dry Cleaners ("we," "our," or "us"), a business registered and operating in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms in accordance with the laws of the UAE, including the UAE Civil Code (Federal Law No. 5 of 1985) and applicable consumer protection regulations.
These Terms also comply with applicable commercial laws in Saudi Arabia and the broader GCC region where our services may be available.
2. Services Description
Diamond Star Dry Cleaners provides professional laundry, dry cleaning, pressing, and garment care services, including:
- Dry cleaning of garments and fabrics
- Wash and fold laundry services
- Ironing and pressing services
- Stain removal and specialty treatments
- Household items cleaning (bedding, curtains, carpets)
- Free pickup and delivery within Dubai
- Subscription-based service plans
3. Pricing and Payment
3.1 Pricing: All prices are quoted in UAE Dirhams (AED) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Prices are subject to change without prior notice, but any changes will not affect orders already placed.
3.2 Payment Methods: We accept cash on delivery and electronic payment methods. Payment is due upon delivery of cleaned items unless you are on a subscription plan.
3.3 Subscription Plans: Subscription credits are valid for the billing period specified. Up to 20% of unused credits may roll over for one month only if the subscription is renewed on time. Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
3.4 Minimum Order: A minimum order value of AED 50 applies per pickup. Orders below this threshold may incur an AED 10 pickup fee.
4. Pickup and Delivery
4.1 Service Area: We provide free pickup and delivery throughout Dubai. Service availability in other emirates or GCC locations may vary.
4.2 Turnaround Time: Standard turnaround is 24-48 hours for regular items. Specialty items, bulky items, or items requiring special treatment may take longer. We will inform you of expected delivery times at pickup.
4.3 Access: You must ensure safe access for our pickup and delivery personnel. We are not responsible for delays caused by inability to access the pickup or delivery location.
4.4 Inspection: Please inspect your items upon delivery. Any concerns must be raised within 24 hours of delivery.
5. Care and Liability
5.1 Reasonable Care: We exercise reasonable care in handling your items according to industry standards and manufacturer care labels. However, we cannot guarantee removal of all stains or prevent damage inherent to the fabric or construction of the garment.
5.2 Pre-existing Conditions: We are not liable for damage caused by pre-existing conditions including but not limited to: weak or worn fabric, loose buttons, broken zippers, color bleeding, shrinkage due to manufacturer defects, or damage from previous cleaning attempts.
5.3 Valuable Items: You must remove all items from pockets before pickup. We are not responsible for money, jewelry, keys, documents, or other valuables left in garments.
5.4 Liability Limit: In accordance with UAE law and industry practice, our maximum liability for any lost or damaged item shall not exceed ten (10) times the cleaning charge for that item, or the fair market value of the item (whichever is lower), up to a maximum of AED 500 per item unless a higher value was declared in writing before cleaning.
5.5 Claims Period: All claims for loss or damage must be submitted within 7 days of delivery. Claims submitted after this period may not be accepted.
6. Customer Responsibilities
By using our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate contact and delivery information
- Inform us of any special care requirements or known fabric issues
- Remove all personal items from pockets before pickup
- Collect your items within 30 days of notification of completion
- Inspect items upon delivery and report issues within 24 hours
- Make payment as agreed upon delivery or according to subscription terms
7. Uncollected Items
Items not collected within 30 days of notification shall incur storage charges of AED 5 per day. Items not collected within 90 days may be disposed of or donated to charity without further notice, and you waive any right to claim compensation for such items. This is in accordance with UAE commercial practice and consumer protection guidelines.
8. Cancellation and Refunds
8.1 Order Cancellation: You may cancel an order before pickup at no charge. Once items have been collected, cancellation is not possible.
8.2 Subscription Cancellation: Subscription plans may be cancelled before the next billing cycle. No refunds are provided for the current billing period. Unused credits expire upon cancellation.
8.3 Refunds: Refunds for service issues will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. If we agree to a refund, it will be processed within 14 business days.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on our website and marketing materials, including logos, text, images, and designs, are the property of Diamond Star Dry Cleaners and are protected under UAE intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
10. Dispute Resolution
10.1 Informal Resolution: We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any disputes. Most concerns can be addressed through direct communication with our customer service team.
10.2 Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. For customers in Saudi Arabia or other GCC countries, local consumer protection laws may also apply.
10.3 Jurisdiction: Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE, unless otherwise required by local law.
11. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, pandemics, civil unrest, or service disruptions.
12. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable under UAE law or applicable GCC regulations, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
